AbandonedI was excited when we left. I thought we were going for a walk, we usually did after we went for a ride. You know how much I love rides in the car. But when you pulled over and pushed me out of the vehicle, the excitement quickly faded. It faded to confusion. Why did you leave me here? I quickly got lonely, the fast food wrappers littering the side of the road didn't make good friends. What did I do? I'm sorry. As time passed I lay down. My once golden brown fur slowly turning to a nondescript grey as the road dust settled into it. My tongue swollen and dry from lack of water.Abandoned
